Despite the ever-increasing number of alternative engine technology on the market, it is highly unlikely that tuning companies will find themselves out of a job in the future. Proof of this can be seen in the attractive package from Cargraphic for the new Porsche Cayenne. Besides the “Turbo” (see photos), which will get the same wheels and accessories, the German customisers have especially in mind the S Hybrid version. &#8220;Cars will still be able to sound powerful and sporty in the future&#8221;, believes Cargraphic CEO Thomas Schnarr. <span id="more-951"></span></p>
<p> The technical brain behind the company refers to the exhaust systems, manufactured in the company&#8217;s own plant in England. The acclaimed tuner expects this to be a real premiere for the company in the year in which it celebrates its 25-year anniversary: the first exhaust system for a hybrid vehicle. Variable suspension lowering, 22-inch, 3-piece wheels type Racing that are &#8220;Made in Germany&#8221; by the company itself and a discreet body kit with rear diffuser complete its harmonious appearance. </p>
<p>This attractive package will also be available for other engine variants, for which Cargraphic also has special exhaust systems in the pipeline. By optimising the flow not only the sound but also the power output benefits. The company has also developed special performance software in conjunction with the renowned experts of Kubatech. Increased driving pleasure is thus guaranteed. Even though combustion engines as single or hybrid drive will undoubtedly remain with us for some decades to come, Cargraphic is already one step ahead with its tuning concept. Thomas Schnarr and his brother Michael, who share management of the company, have already drawn up plans for the first innovative sound concepts for electric cars. Thus, the passion and pleasure of driving may change in the future but never be lost.</p>

TOPCAR Moscow has been involved in the tuning of the Porsche, BMW, and Bentley cars since 2004. Having created and implemented a new idea of the Porsche Cayenne rebuilding into the stylized dashing off-road coupe TOPCAR has successfully participated with its Porsche Cayenne Advantage and Porsche Cayenne Vantage GTR at the largest and most prestigious car tuning exhibition in Europe &#8211; Essen Motor Show. Due to the great majority of renovated cars it proves that the idea has been appreciated and managed to gain customers’ confidence. <span id="more-898"></span></p>
<p>In this connection, it is remarkable that the new Porsche Cayenne is going to be in a great demand and in fact to be a great opportunity to create the new Advantage and Vantage GTR renovated series.</p>
<p>Having gained the positive response all over the world for the Porsche Panamera aerodynamic body kit TOPCAR is on its way to develop a fresh package for the new Porsche Cayenne in three various manners:</p>

<p><strong>Porsche Cayenne Advantage 2</strong></p>
<p>The Porsche Cayenne Advantage 2 project is designed to have your Cayenne stylized into dashing off-road coupe. Due to the idea of the rebuilding car body and installing Porsche 911 headlights your Porsche will gain a new look with the traditional Porsche styling cues.</p>
<p>TOPCAR designers will create an absolutely new car appearance where almost all car parts will be substituted.</p>
<p>The fresh aerodynamic package includes front and rear spoiler bumpers, extended fenders, side skirts, wide door caps and a new bonnet. Rear door handles will be covered by the wide door caps which obtained two in-build side air intakes. The new rear spoiler bumper has a wide diffuser and air outlets. The newly designed front spoiler bumper and the new-made bonnet with the menacing arrowy lines as well as the extended front fenders will bear all character treats of a supercar. As a result the new wide body Porsche Cayenne tuning package will supply the car with the genuine dashing and wild supercar spirit.</p>
<p>The number of renovated cars is fixed; only 25 unique cars will be built.</p>
<p><strong>Porsche Cayenne Vantage 2</strong></p>
<p>The Vantage 2 body kit assembly doesn’t require any complementary car base work as the Advantage 2 ? Vantage GTR 2 packages. The whole package includes front and rare spoiler bumpers, front and rare fender extenders, a bonnet and side skirts. The Vantage 2 appearance has its own distinctive face containing the wide character strings inherited from the Vantage GTR 2.  The amount of renovated cars will be unlimited.</p>
<p><strong>Porsche Cayenne Vantage GTR 2</strong></p>
<p>The further special decision is the Porsche Cayenne Vantage GTR 2 project. The car also will be elaborated in the vein of the off-road coupe using Porsche Cayenne 2 base. We designedly left the original headlights unaffected in order to reveal and highlight the accipitral appearance of the car as distinct from the Advantage 2. The whole fresh body shape forms with the front spoiler bumper with wide air intakes perfectly accompanied by the new bonnet, wide fenders and a rear spoiler bumper with a diffuser. The masterly implemented idea makes the car provide an impression of the infuriated beast of prey.</p>
<p>Only 25 cars will gain the astonishing lines of the Porsche Cayenne Vantage GTR 2.</p>
<p>The projects are excellent. All car parts will be fully manufactured from the Carbon Kevlar and Carbon fibre. The body kit parts not only look fantastic but have the added advantage of also being highly firm and extremely lightweight.</p>
<p>All elaboration activities and fitting works are provided in the state-of-the-art tuning manufactory. The perfect quality of TOPCAR’s products is guaranteed and the company has its own production capacities that are needed to achieve success.</p>
<p>To every of these three projects TOPCAR offers new wing mirrors with LED side repeaters.</p>
<p>In order to achieve better performance the new Porsche Cayenne engine will be juiced up and get an output from 550 to 750 hp.</p>
<p>The new forged wheels (R21 and R23) have been especially designed for the new Porsche Cayenne by TOPCAR.</p>

This applies to the engine performance of the vehicles as well as the pace to which the company reacts to new car models. The car tuner from Winterlingen in the German state of Baden-Württemberg presents its design development CLR 550 GT already for the launch of the brand-new Porsche Cayenne.<span id="more-838"></span></p>
<p>LUMMA Design provided the somewhat reserved appearance of the Cayenne with a tailor-made sports suit that radiates self-confidence. It comprises a new front spoiler with a deep drawn cup spoiler sword and additional carbon applications that give the Porsche an aggressive agile look. The added LED daytime running lights and the fog lights unit emphasise this self-contained design.<br />
The new sporty bonnet, which is made from high-performance materials such as carbon and Kevlar, also demands to be recognised. The gill-like air inlets provide the best heat dissipation from the engine compartment, and the elevated windscreen wiper cover reduces the aerodynamic drag.</p>
<p>The bold wing extensions continue the aerodynamic optimisation of the Cayenne. The side skirts steady the airflow and guide the air through a specially designed channel to the rear brakes, thus ensuring a stable and optimum operating temperature. Customized openings in the door fixtures provide additional cooling. They continue seamlessly between the wider wheelhouse of the front and rear wheels. The total aerodynamic package makes the CLR 550 GT a force to be reckoned with on the road.</p>
<p>This impression is further reinforced by the massive light alloy wheels. LUMMA Design uses forged 11&#215;23 inch aluminium rims with a deep wheel hub.</p>
<p>The individual shape of the rear end is also impressive. The heart of this design is the rear spoiler with its integrated carbon diffuser. Incorporated into the centre of the spoiler are the three stainless steel tailpipes, giving it the distinctive look of the design. Only LUMMA Design offers the visual appearance of a centre pipe flanked by two smaller ones. What&#8217;s more, the roof edge spoiler and the tear-off edge on the tailgate, both made of carbon, provide additional power.</p>
<p>By incorporating further design elements, LUMMA Design brings the transformation of the Porsche Cayenne to full circle. This includes headlight rings and tail light trims.</p>
<p>Increased performance features and a comprehensive luxury programme for fine-tuning of the interior are already on the table.<br />
The new CLR 550 GT proves again that LUMMA Design is a trendsetter in its field. Immediately with the launch of the Porsche Cayenne, this car tuner offers an extensive transition as a sports car with loads of personality. Diesel drivers can really get their money&#8217;s worth, not just in economic terms, and this is down to the V6 unit&#8217;s high torque of 550 Nm at 176 kW / 240 PS. The only issue is the look, which does come across as somewhat tame, compared with the top Cayenne models. <span id="more-735"></span></p>
<p>Yet even this is now no longer a major shortcoming, as Cargraphic, the traditional customizing company from Germany, has now included in its range a conversion kit for Cayenne Turbo look.</p>
<p>What the vehicle enhancement specialists, with their reputation for attention to detail, can offer the customer is a matching rear valence along with sports exhaust, heat shield and end pipes, all for 2,495 euros (plus VAT). The exhaust systems are produced in England by Cargraphic&#8217;s own manufacturers, working to the highest standards of craftmanship. Only high-grade stainless steel is used, good enough to satisfy even the quality standards demanded in the aviation industry.</p>
<p>All that remains, then, is the &#8220;moral&#8221; issue of whether a diesel model should actually even be allowed to bear the Turbo insignia. Michael Schnarr, who heads the company along with his brother Thomas, has got the answer: &#8220;Technically, the diesel engine used in the Cayenne is actually a turbo engine.&#8221; And on the subject of performance, he points to another of the company&#8217;s products. </p>
<p>Thanks to an upgrade via software, the engine power soars to 290 PS (213 kW) and the top speed rises to 133 mph (221 km/h). In terms of torque &#8211; now up to 630 Nm &#8211; the diesel model is now getting dangerously close to the &#8220;real&#8221; Turbo Cayenne, with its 700 Nm. The price of the software performance upgrade runs to 995 euros (plus VAT).</p>

<p>Adjusting the ride height with Switzer’s lowering module is easy as well, with an intuitive interface that allows users to raise and lower each wheel individually for a custom “rake”, or all at once to quickly “slam” the car to a ride height over 50 mm lower than the lowest stock setting. There is even a “saved settings” feature that allows users to save settings. “Customers can lower just the rear for better weight transfer at a drag strip, or even use corner weights to set the the cars up for PCA events at different tracks.”</p>

The name Porsche has always been synonymous with thoroughbred sports cars, in most cases rear or mid-engined. However, the Cayenne proved to have the recipe for success. In the 2003/2004 financial year it moved almost 40,000 units and was by far the most popular Porsche model.<span id="more-510"></span></p>
<p>The &#8220;Zuffenhausen Bull&#8221; also quickly became popular with tuners, as it offered, both visually and technically, an outstanding basis for monumental show and performance projects. Less well-known than the market leaders, Chemnitz-based ENCO Exklusive have produced probably one of the best Cayenne interpretations with their ENCO Gladiator.</p>
<p><strong>It&#8217;s the second glance that makes the difference</strong></p>
<p>Even though the Gladiator is noticeably bigger and more powerful than the normal Cayenne at first glance, you have to look carefully to see how meticulously the team, centred around Jens Engelmann, have integrated their aerodynamic kit with the full size SUV.</p>
<p>What is not immediately obvious is the ENCO front apron right underneath the car with its huge air intake and its integrated rows of daytime running lights, another set of which can be found on the diffuser apron at the rear which has distinctive fins and a central opening for the exhaust pipe. The bonnet with incorporated air intakes is crafted out of carbon. Even less obvious is the roof spoiler with air flow openings and the widened side panels with recessed air vents which, along with the side skirts, make the Porsche appear more muscular and broad. Only Cayenne experts can really spot the aerodynamic styling just a few centimetres under the skirting-line at first glance. It&#8217;s &#8220;well hidden&#8221;, but forms a significant part of the dynamic performance of the ENCO Porsche. The two-tone black and Bordeaux red paintwork is also very classy.</p>
<p><strong>700 PS thanks to the turbo upgrade</strong></p>
<p>The Cayenne Turbo itself is far from lacking in the power department, but ENCO Exklusive couldn&#8217;t leave it at only 500 PS and sent the Gladiator to the weights room. Through the insertion of larger turbo chargers, an ENCO-designed sport exhaust system with manifolds and sport catalytic convertors and numerous further engine modifications, the supercharged V8 &#8211; which is officially called the &#8220;Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo&#8221; &#8211; possesses a hefty 700 PS and produces some 850 Nm of torque. Even weighing in at 2.5 tonnes, the Gladiator still races to 100km/h in only 4.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of around 290km/h.</p>
<p>At such speeds, the Gladiator carries such an incredible amount of kinetic energy that a bazooka could hardly stop it, and must be able to be brought to a stop in as short a distance as possible. For this reason, ENCO equipped this high-calibre projectile with a high-performance braking system with 410mm x 36mm brake disks and 12-piston callipers on the front axle and 380mm x 32mm disks with 4-piston callipers on the rear. Of course, such an impressive braking system requires a lot of space, of which ample can be found in the ENCO Jura alloy rims. They measure 11&#8243; x 23&#8243; and are compatible with the 315/25R23 Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tyres. An electronic suspension module for the standard Cayenne Turbo suspension lowers the car by 50mm.</p>
<p><strong>Red carbon</strong></p>
<p>The wow-factor is continued inside the car. There are four individual leather/Alcantara bucket seats taken from the Porsche 911 GT3 that have been further enhanced with carbon backrests and red carbon-fibre padding. Wherever you look, red carbon gleams: Fittings made from the high-tech material adorn the dashboard, the steering wheel, the centre console and the door lining. Likewise, the whole vehicle is painted red, including the roll cage.</p>

At the MANSORY stand (hall 5) in Frankfurt, MANSORY Switzerland AG presents its fascinating interpretation of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. A breathtaking car body styling, precisely adjusted aerodynamics components, a vigorous 710 hp turbo engine and a unprecedented abundance of interior refinements turn the Chopster into a holistic automobile artwork. </p>
<p><strong>Carbon – the basis for modifications</strong><br />
Mansory relies on most modern manufacturing methods and solely uses the ultra-light and high-strength material carbon for its extensive auto body modifications. Whether front- or rear apron, doors, bonnet or the wings which broaden the cars by 80 millimetres &#8211; all components are formed out of carbon and hardened under strong pressure and high temperatures in the autoclave. The advantages of the high-tech method are evident: reducing the car weight does not only improve the acceleration values, but also reduces the braking distance and the fuel consumption of the Chopster. <p>Powerful performance enhancement for better elasticity and more driving pleasures<br />
Apart from the auto body, also the charged serial power engine of the Porsche receives an impressive makeover. The Mansory engine department exchanges the serial turbo loader with larger specimen. An adjusted engine management and a significantly improved fresh air supply result in a remarkable increased efficiency. </p>
<p>The modified V8 therefore mobilises 710 hp / 522 kW and a maximum torque of 900 Nm and achieves a maximum speed of 302 km/h. A sport exhaust system with an optimised off-gas stream perfects the Mansory engine upgrade. A proprietary development consisting of a racing header and a four-pipe baffler regulates the sound scenery through the integrated valve control and the driver can select a restrained sonorous or a powerful and voluminous sound.  </p>
<p><strong>Wheel and running gear – </strong><br />

The fully forged 11&#215;23 inch mono block rims in turbine design and the Dunlop Sport Maxx GT-tyres sized 315/25/23 perfectly fit under the broadened Chopster wing. By the Mansory sport module for air suspension control, the XXL-wheels are additionally enhanced. If desired, the SUV´s centre of gravity can be lowered by 45 millimetres. </p>
<p><strong>Engineer design without limits </strong><br />
The interior is lined with most delicate materials rendering a comfortable feeling. The leather of the Chopster interior is extremely hard wearing, but yet enormously soft and finished by expert hand. For the Chopster interior, the MANSORY interior designers only use flawless leather skins and accentuate them with discreet decorative stitches. </p>
<p>An eye-catching highlight of the newly designed interior is the centre console which stretches from the back compartment to the dash-board. Four individual sports seats with shell-type seats made of carbon fibre render an extravagant atmosphere and provide optimal hold to its passengers.   </p>
<p>Equipped with two monitors in the centre console as well as DVD-player and laptop with internet connection, the car offers everything the clientele desires. The newly designed airbag sports steering wheel, the aluminium pedals and the carbon fibre applications perfect the exquisite overall impression in the Chopster. MANSORY achieved the perfect symbiosis of dynamic functionality and a luxurious atmosphere.  </p>

The Cayenne’s 3.0 V6 diesel engine that generates 240 HP can be tinkered with by the tuning specialists from SpeedART to offer customers a choice of three power boost stages. The first two raise the standard power to 280 HP and 290 HP respectively, through a remapped ECU unit. <span id="more-415"></span></p>
