Sportec SUV SP600M breaks the World Record

Papenburg (D), On March the 10 th 2005, at 3.24 pm local time, the Sportec SP600M broke the produktion road car speed record (SUV-Class), achieving a new official top speed of 308,45 km/h at the ATP- proving ground. A team of five Sportec engineers and mechanics together with founder Ueli Hodel ran, a technically standard Sportec Cayenne SP600M in order to take the top speed record for productions road cars (SUV-Class). Mr Ueli Hodel himself drove the SP600M. The Sportec Cayenne raised Klemanns official mark of 282 km/h set at Nardo/Prototipo in 2003 with over 308,45 km/h. Read more…
